Elisa Doyle noticed her students were reading, writing and listening, but not speaking nearly enough! She combined her skills as an ESL teacher with her natural curiosity and created this two book series of questions to develop communication and fluency. At first she would give each student the same photocopied sheet of questions and have the class mingle, asking and answering the questions. Some days she used her master sheet for a dictation exercise before the class mingled. Others days she simply cut the questions from one page into strips and placed them in a bag on her desk. The students took turns coming forward, drawing a question strip from the bag and reading it to the class. The students took turns answering the question. The question pages are based on structure and theme.
